Chef Josh

Growing up in rural western Kentucky, Chef Josh connected with food early.

He fondly remembers meals around the dinner table with friends and family.

After attending culinary school, he worked his way up through several kitchens and eventually became Executive Sous Chef for one of the nation’s largest microbreweries.

He eventually moved to Nashville, TN, where he became Executive/ Corporate Chef of multiple restaurant & pub venues, catering private meals for music, sports, and film industry clientele.

In the Spring of 2017, he moved with his wife and 3 children to Florida’s Emerald Coast to permanently live in their favorite vacation paradise.

Josh has always had a strong affinity for the coastal cuisine of this area and has a passion for creating new and innovative concepts with the area’s best ingredients.

Chef Josh loves to serve good food that brings people together. He hopes to create memories around your table that will last a lifetime.

Chef Kara

Growing up on a small farm in Kentucky, Chef Kara Mardell developed a deep connection to food from an early age.

Surrounded by fresh ingredients and a lifestyle rooted in sustainability, she learned the value of cooking with what’s available and letting quality ingredients speak for themselves. 

Those early experiences sparked a passion for food that would shape her career.With over a decade of experience in the culinary industry, Kara worked her way up through the ranks—from line cook to Executive Chef—learning from respected chefs and mentors along the way. She has led high-performing kitchens along the Gulf Coast, launched new restaurant concepts, and built strong teams focused on consistency, creativity, and guest experience.

Now based on Florida’s Emerald Coast, Chef Kara brings a refined yet approachable style to every event.

She has a passion for coastal cuisine, drawing inspiration from fresh, local ingredients while incorporating the grounded, ingredient-driven approach she developed early on. Kara is committed to creating thoughtful, elevated dining experiences that feel both welcoming and memorable.

Like Chef Josh, she believes great food is about more than what’s on the plate—it’s about bringing people together and creating moments around the table that guests will carry with them long after the meal is over.
